The Big Sunday Game is right around the corner! Have you thought about what your menu will look like for The Big Game? Whether you’re hosting a party or attending a party I’ve got the perfect appetizer idea for you! And not only is it tasty, but it will be the talk of the party (besides the game itself!).
The idea of the appetizer is to create a football stadium out of food. You can search the internet and find tons of fun ideas on how to create your own stadium!
I knew I wanted to create my stadium using only ingredients found at my local Family Dollar. Here are the “ingredients” I found to create my food stadium.
What you need:
9″ x 13″ pan
1 pack of toothpicks
2 boxes of Cheez-Its
1 bag of mini Twix candy bars
2 boxes of Duncan Hines Chewy Fudge brownies
1 bag of Fritos Scoops
1 can of Fritos Hot Bean Dip
3 Jack Link’s Beef Sticks
I began by baking the brownies according to their package. What I loved about these mini brownies is that they came with the mini wrappers in the box, so I didn’t have to worry about purchasing them!
Once the brownies were baked, I lined my 9×13 with some brown wrapping paper I already had. I thought it would add a nice background for the food!
I then sectioned off three areas by laying down some of my mini Twix candy bars.
In one area, I poured my Cheez-its. In the center, area I placed my bean dip and then poured the Fritos around the can. And in the third area, I placed my mini brownies.
To make it look like a legit football field I knew I needed some goal posts. Using toothpicks and Beef Sticks I created two goal posts. I then stuck each goal post into a brownie with a toothpick. I placed one on each end of my “field” and instantly had my Food Stadium!
This was such a fun and easy project! The best part about it is the possibilities are endless. Head to Family Dollar and see what kind of Food Stadium you can come up with!
