HERSHEY'S Halloween - Seasonal Crafts & Recipes

Witches and Ghost and Pumpkins, Oh My! Are you ready for Halloween? Halloween is probably my favorite holiday of the entire year (Christmas is a close second!). I love everything from the creepy sights, to the colors, to the Halloween goodies and kids Halloween crafts!

Crafting is such a great way to get into the Halloween spirit and its also fun to make Halloween decorations with the family! I’ve got a super neat and easy Halloween crafts for kids; it’s a Halloween HERSHEY’S candy wreath!

My husband actually came up with the idea and I’m in love with it! Not only will it be a fun decoration for the house (or kid’s door), but it’s something that kids and adults will have fun making.

I did use a glue gun to adhere my candy to the wreath, so if you’re using a glue gun be careful to not burn your fingers. I only used a small dot of glue on each candy and older children shouldn’t have a problem with that method. If smaller children are going to be helping, make sure that an adult handles the glue gun or that strong sticky tape is used instead of glue.

What you need:
1 festive leaf wreath
1 large HERSHEY’S chocolate bar
2 large bags of candy
Glue gun with glue sticks (or strong sticky tape)

What to do:

Step 1: Dump all of the candy out and place the wreath on a flat surface.

Step 2: Plug the glue gun in and let it heat up.

Step 3: Add a dab of glue to the large HERSHEY’S Bar and stick it onto the wreath in the lower right hand side. (I used the large candy bar as a “bow” for this wreath)

Step 4: Next, take one piece of candy at a time and glue the candy to the wreath going all the way around the wreath.

Step 5: Use the rest of the candy to fill in spaces on the wreath until it is as full as you’d like it to be.

And you’re all done, hang the wreath up and enjoy your new HERSHEY’S candy wreath!

After resisting eating all this yummy candy, so you could have a nice, complete candy wreath, treat yourself to some delicious HERSHEY’S Chocolate Bark.

It is definitely another great way to get into the Halloween spirit!

Chocolate treats and Halloween go hand in hand and this HERSHEY’S Chocolate Bark is one of our favorite Halloween snack recipes! With all the hooting and howling (or hustle and bustle) of Halloween, I love to whip up this easy Halloween recipe.

What you need:
4 large HERSHEY’Schocolate bars
1 bag HERSHEY’S Cookies & Creme drops, crushed or whole
1 bag HERSHEY’S chocolate covered almond drops
1 package small Cookies & Creme Hershey’s bars, chopped
1 large pan lined with foil

(If you’re giving it away as a gift, be sure to grab some plastic bags, curly bows and a cute container to put the bark in!)

What to do:

Step 1: Unwrap and break apart the Large HERSHEY’S Chocolate Bars.

Step 2: Place pieces of the HERSHEY’S Chocolate Bars into a large glass bowl.

Step 3: Place the bowl into the microwave and heat for 30 seconds. Remove and stir. Heat again for 30 seconds, carefully remove and stir.

Step 4: Continue to heat and stir in 30-second intervals until chocolate is melted.

Step 5: Pour melted chocolate into a foil-lined pan. Spread evenly with the back of a spoon.

Step 6: Sprinkle with crushed HERSHEY’S Cookies and Crème drops.

Step 7: Next, sprinkle the melted chocolate with chocolate covered almond drops.

Step 8: Sprinkle chopped Cookies and Crème HERSHEY’S bars over the melted chocolate.

Step 9: Place pan in the fridge and let harden. (Between 2-3 hours)

Step 10: Once hardened, remove pan from fridge and break bark into pieces.

To give as a gift, place bark into clear bags and tie with festive ribbon.
