Spring Cleaning For Outdoor Spaces
Seasonal changes, mother nature, animals, pests and harsh weather conditions all take a toll on outdoor spaces. Here are some tips to refresh your yard this spring and maintain a space the whole family can enjoy.
Outdoor Flower Pots
Diluted Clorox® Regular-Bleach2 is a great way to maintain cleanliness in areas where mold and mildew can build up, like outdoor flower pots. When used as directed it won’t harm your grass or plants.
Prevent Mosquito Breeding Grounds
To prevent mosquito breeding areas, discard all unnecessary containers where water may accumulate after a rainfall. For all other containers, remove any standing water and wash them with a solution of water and Clorox® Regular-Bleach2 with CLOROMAX™ (1/2 cup of Clorox® Regular-Bleach2 with CLOROMAX™ per gallon of clean water); let air dry.
Throw on some old clothes, shoes and rubber gloves and mix a ½ cup of Clorox® Bleach2 into a 1 gallon plastic bucket of water. Apply the solution to and throw in a little elbow grease for heavily soiled surfaces. Wait five minutes. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.
Clorox® Regular-Bleach is a convenient, economical way to disinfect your child’s wading pool. Simply use 1/8 cup of Clorox® Regular-Bleach per 100 gallons of fresh water. Scatter the solution over the pools surface and mix it around uniformly. To maintain a clean wading pool, don’t forget to empty it daily.
